Het is weer tijd voor de jaarlijkse Beyond Rock Mailorder "SUMMER SALE".
Enkele honderden titels zijn tijdelijk (extra) in prijs verlaagd. Deze
actie duurt t/m 31 augustus 2019. Van de meeste titels hebben we maar een
paar exemplaren, dus wees er snel bij, want OP is OP !!

| Omschrijving | The third studio album (1997) of the legendary
German neo-prog formation CHANDELIER. Mastered by
EROC (ex-GROBSCHNITT). "Timecode" appears as a
double-CD-edition including rare bonus material
(demos, live recordings, acoustic versions) +
sticker.
With their two studio albums "Pure" (1990) and
"Face Gravity" (1992), which appeared at the time
on the band`s own label SISYPHUS RECORDS, the
formation CHANDELIER from North Rhine-Westphalian
Neuss became one of the musically most exciting and
most popular formations of German neo-prog scene.
Initially strongly influenced by GENESIS and
MARILLION, however, the formation initiated by
singer MARTIN EDEN and guitarist UDO LANG soon
developed its own stylistic touch.
Now on the Polish connoisseur label CHICKADISC
finally the third longplayer of the band is
officially available again.
Originally released in 1997 on the German label
INSIDE OUT, the formation, which was re-staffed at
that time with STEPHAN SCHOLZ (bass) and TOM
JARZINA (drums), was harder soundwise than its
predecessors. The result was nine compositionally
complex neo-progressive rock tracks characterized
by sophisticated melodies and powerfully
sophisticated arrangements, including the more than
eleven-minute number "Half Empty, Half Fool". The
group sound is rounded off perfectly by the vocally
charismatic timbre of their frontman MARTIN EDEN as
well as the inspired guitar and keyboarder exits by
UDO LANG and TOBIAS BUDNOWSKI.
The second CD contains eleven bonus tracks with
rare demo versions, live recordings and acoustic
versions of selected highlight tracks, including
three current recordings from 2018 ("Stone Age",
"Flight Of The Raven", "Therapy"). Mastered by EROC
(ex-GROBSCHNITT).
