Door de Brexit komen titels die uit de UK afkomstig zijn nog altijd
met vertraging binnen. Soms valt het mee en duurt het slechts 2-3
weken, maar het komt helaas ook voor dat we 4 weken of meer moeten
wachten. We doen ons best om alles zo goed en snel mogelijk te
regelen, maar het blijft lastig...

| Omschrijving | We are delighted to announce that Cosmograf is
releasing a live bootleg album showcasing their
recent performance at 1865, Southampton in May
2023.
A small and enthusiastic group of Cosmograf fans
gathered at 1865, Southampton, UK on a Sunday
evening in May `23 to see Robin and his live band
perform a two hour concert performing songs from
his extensive repertoire of the last 9 albums were
played. There was no original plan to record the
concert, but after the show a decent soundboard
stereo mix was made available that captured
something very interesting. Much of what was
played that evening was too enticing not to share
some of those experiences with a much larger
audience.
What the album lacks in polished presentation, it
more than makes up for in the performance and
atmosphere of a live band in their raw, down-to-
earth environment. Robin reviewed, edited and
mixed the audio within the recording limitations
and gave his approval. For these reasons it is an
official bootleg!, marking an interesting
milestone in Cosmograf`s history.
“I had no intention of doing any kind of live
album for our last few shows, but when I listened
back to the soundboard mix for this one I was
surprised at how good it sounded,” explains Robin
Armstrong. "Normally I`d be obsessed with fixing
mistakes and mixing it properly, but there was
just no way to do that with just a basic stereo
track, so I thought it would be fun to release it
in all its old rawness."
