Door de Brexit komen titels die uit de UK afkomstig zijn nog altijd
met vertraging binnen. Soms valt het mee en duurt het slechts 2-3
weken, maar het komt helaas ook voor dat we 4 weken of meer moeten
wachten. We doen ons best om alles zo goed en snel mogelijk te
regelen, maar het blijft lastig...

spaces.
With their debut, echofield provide a counterpoint
to the main currents of our popular music
landscape. The three musicians compose songs with
strong character, the nature of which may seem
wasteful and excessive. However, echofield take
the time to develop an idea and finally give it
the sophisticated form. In terms of content, the
album is dedicated to processes of change, whether
personal or global, inspiring people to accept
change, dare to make new beginnings and be
creative.
Dedicated to the progressive art rock of the late
60s and the alternative sounds of the New
Millennium, the ensemble delivers an artfully
coordinated mix of complex arrangements and a wide
range of different styles that takes their
audience into a world full of magic and passion.
echofield invite you to dream, think and dance.
echofield have existed since 2018. It all started
when Christian Schweyda (guitarist, singer and
multi-instrumentalist) released his solo album
“Insight” in 2017 - a conceptual work about media
madness. On the way to bringing these songs to the
stage in a band context, he finally met bassist
Michael Schmidt and drummer Boris Borreck. New
ideas and new songs emerged. A separate identity
developed. echofield were born.
When you experience echofield live, you quickly
notice that something is “different” here. There
are only three musicians on stage. A brief moment
of pause is required - then the questions come:
“Who plays these atmospherically dense and complex
synthesizer sounds?”
“How is it possible to bring this expansive sound
to the stage with just three musicians?”
echofield use the latest computer technology with
self-developed hardware and software - their
“magic machines”, which are played by the three
musicians themselves.
The suitcases are packed - the journey can begin. |
