De nieuwe CD`s van Fish (Weltschmerz, releasedatum 25 september 2020) en Lifesigns (Altitude, releasedatum maart 2021) zijn niet
verkrijgbaar bij Beyond Rock Mailorder. Deze artiesten hebben er
voor gekozen om alles in eigen beheer te doen, dus wil je deze CD`s
hebben dan moet je ze bij de artiest zelf bestellen. Voor Fish kan
dat op zijn website fishmusic.scot en voor Lifesigns kun je deze

Overigens kan het zijn dat de Lifesigns CD uiteindelijk wel gewoon
in de reguliere handel verkrijgbaar wordt, maar dat zal dan
waarschijnlijk pas in de loop van 2021 het geval zijn.
De MEGA PLATEN & CD BEURS die gepland stond voor 14 & 15 November
2020 in de Jaarbeurs te Utrecht is afgelast.
De eerstvolgende editie staat nu gepland voor 29 & 30 Mei 2021.
Jethro Tull fans opgelet! In maart 2021 verschijnt het album Still Thick
As A Brick, geïnspireerd door het fameuze JT album, maar volledig nieuwe
muziek bevattend van het internationale progproject Reflection Club. Te
bestellen via deze website in een CD/DVD-versie alsmede een LP+CD+DVD-

| Omschrijving | For 14 years now the name starfish64 has stood for
dreamy,
gentle and artful progressive (pop) rock. After the
release of the album “The Future in Reverse”, which
was
released in 2018, it didn`t take long to breathe.
And so
here we have “The Crimson Cabinet”, meanwhile the
sixth
album.
starfish64 kidnap us for three quarters of an hour
in
their purple cupboard. The tour begins with the
intro ‘In
the Lobby’, where the mysterious door is opened.
Behind
it, seven little stories await us, each of which is
dealt
with in four to nine melodic minutes. The
impressive
mélange of Dream Pop, Prog Rock and exciting
narrative,
with which starfish64 captivates the listener to
the
speakers, presents itself pleasantly and with a
rocky
undertone. “The Crimson Cabinet” sets nightly
thoughts
about life and fate (‘Lost & Found’), time (Future
Perfect
Tense ’) or religion (Nowhere Bound’) to music. The
title
‘Mr. O’Brayne ’, which is partly due to the
oriental
sounding instrumentation. In addition, as an
exception,
Martin Pownall takes over the first voice in the
vocals.
Another element that definitely deserves special
recognition is the choir of more than two dozen
voices,
which charges the end of ‘Future Perfect Tense’
with
harmonic tension. |
