OmschrijvingThe new album of Central Unit is released by M.P. & Records, after Internal Cut (2004) and I See You (2010) and tells about an ordinary day in the rush life many of us are living. Whatever day suits you best. On Board, to start a Gear Path, that will lead undoubtely to be Snowed Under. So, Get It Out of Your System – to start something else, or at least to have a Seesaw Daydream, and maybe to ask ourselves what’s the aim of all of that. What use. As usual, a perfect blend of electronics, melody and jazz ideas created by Central Unit: Alberto Pietropoli (sax and flutes), Enrico Giuliani (bass), Riccardo Lolli (keyboards and programming), Andrea Ventura (drums and percussions). Recorded and mixed by Riccardo Lolli; mastered by Roberto Costa, composer, arranger and bass player with Lucio Dalla. Costa remixed also “What Use”, the sixth track of the album, the famous song of Tuxedomoon covered by Central Unit in the EP “Loving Machinery” (1982), released also by M.P. & Records in 2004 together with the 1983 debut album “Central Unit”. Cover art is by Giorgio Carpinteri. Tracklist: 1 – On Board (6:05) 2 – Gear Path (5:49) 3 – Snowed Under (5:07) 4 – Get It Out of Your System (6:17) 5 – Seesaw Daydream (8:20) 6 – What Use (Bob Costa Remix) (5:12)
