Nieuws MEDEDELING !!

Omschrijving | This is the brand new 2022 version of Twelfth
Night’s first album, released on CD on their own
label for the first time.
This 2CD Definitive Edition features as Disc One
the original Live At The Target album tracks
recorded in January 1981, co-produced by Greg
Walsh. Disc Two comprises a mix of rare live and
studio versions of tracks that featured in the
band’s live set at the time. In total over 2 hours
of the finest instrumental rock!
“The original album has held up tremendously well…
the lengthy East To West and Sequences remain
mesmeric listens.” While on Disc Two “Entropy and
Afghan Red are strong highlights.” Jerry Ewing –
PROG Magazine - 2012
”Heavily textural but retaining rhythm and energy…
ending with the titanic Sequences”. So impressed,
by the live show he saw at Reading’s Target Club
back in 1980, was the reviewer for paper
Musicians’ Only that he described them as
“Musically the best exciting band to be seen
outside of a major tour by Genesis.”
“Not bad at what they’re doing” - Sounds magazine
- 1981
The original album was so-produced by Greg Walsh,
one of Pink Floyd’s live sound engineers on ‘The
Wall’ tour, who was very impressed by the
musicianship of the band. “Remarkably tight…”
The recently updated artwork sees the 2022 version
accompanied by a lovingly crafted, 16-page
booklet, previously unseen photos, memorabilia,
and extensively detailed sleevenotes.
Founder member Brian Devoil says “The album was
our first nationally available recording, and led
us to open The Reading Festival in 1981. This
updated 2CD Definitive Edition captures the very
essence of the instrumental band, and what we
stood for, so we’re still very proud of it.
